— Good afternoon ladies, gentlemen, children of all ages. My name is Joshua Homme and I’m your host on the Alligator Hour where we take music old and new swallowed hole and trot it like a pair of alligator shoes.
— Some of the best music does go undiscovered. That’s what’s awesome. The shining light on something you haven’t heard. I always love it when someone turns me on and I think that it’s my job here is to try up to turn you on to something new.
— Grinderman with Heathen Child. What a great song! What a sick twisted band that is! They prove when something is imperfect it’s better. You know, so much of technology implies or suggest that perfection is a something we can actually attain. Perfection is something to strive for but certainly not something to expect. And as it turns out when music is perfected or corrected it kinda gets a little boringand lifeless because, frankly it’s impossible to do without a computer. But it sounds wonderful when someone’s holding it together fighting TOOTH AND NAIL AND DUCT TAPE JUST TO KEEP THEIR WINGS FROM BLOWING OFF AS THEY DIE ON TOWARDS THE EARTH.
